LOCAL: Abingdon & District Musical Society to perform in Abingdon this April

Abingdon & District Musical Society will perform Bach’s St Matthew Passion at 7:30pm on Saturday 9th April 2022 in the School of St Helen and St Katharine, Faringdon Road, Abingdon OX14 1BE...

Soloists:      

Evangelist — Edward Woodhouse

Christus — Daniel Tate

Soprano — Rebecca Bottone

Countertenor — William Purefoy

Tenor — Dominic Bevan

Bass — Michael Hickman

The work will be conducted by Alexander Walker and the orchestra will be led by Kate Bailey. The choral pieces will be sung jointly by ADMS and Wantage Choral Society.
