The Fourteas is very much a customer and service-orientated Tea-Room. With a theme too. That of the Forties! The obvious pun is well intended!
During lockdown we wanted to reach out to our customers to reassure them, that there was light on the other side of the tunnel of COVID-19, so our online shop began with our finest homemade goods and products complemented by England’s most sought-after independent suppliers. We now deliver 7 days a week, all over the country. From our gift cards to our exquisite hampers filled up with you in mind, there is so much to choose from you’ll want it all. We also have some great original & replica memorabilia for those people who look into the forties with great nostalgia.
One of our most famous products is our gas mask Cream Tea Box with our freshly made scones baked to order, then vacuum sealed for total freshness, accompanied with clotted cream and some of the best jam money can buy! alongside a replica gas mask information leaflet and our famous Fourteas blend, all encased in a replica gas mask box. This box serves four, or two persons if you after an extra generous ration.
We have seasonal Hampers ready for any occasion, one of which is our “Autumnal Delights” with a handmade Amaretto & cherry, fruit celebration cake, pheasant and champagne pate & all butter bucks fizz curd just to name a few items! Our Hampers come without the rationing but with all the elegance needed for gifts to friends and family.
Our kitchen team are always working on new and existing products for us to list on our website. We have homemade, freshly baked cakes available for collection, for any occasion. There is a choice of chocolate, coffee and walnut, carrot, Victoria sponge and lemon drizzle.
We proudly offer our Fourteas loose leaf tea blend online too; blended for us especially, as it cannot be brought from anyone else. The Fourteas Blend consists of only the finest, high grown fruity single estate orange Pecoe Ceylon and a luxurious multi Keemun from China, resulting in a coppery full-bodied cup, bursting with freshness and flavour. Delicious with or without milk it enhances all our afternoon tea items, to which it has become a serious accomplice.
