MARLBOROUGH: Peacock Arts Trail 2021: The Popular Event Returns!
North-West Wiltshire’s Peacock Arts Trail flies again, from 11-19 September, and over 70 fabulous artists and craftspeople from Corsham, Chippenham, Melksham and villages are taking part...
This year, the traditional studio openings and group exhibitions will be joined by an online extravaganza of virtual events and demos, in response to the uncertainty of the pandemic. The event is free.
Lucia Lovett, a Chippenham artist taking part, said “Check out the website for latest details of the venues welcoming visitors, follow the striking pink arrows to their locations, pop in, see the artist’s work and have a chat. Alternatively, curl up in a comfy chair and explore the online programme: videos of artists at work; talks giving insights into their inspiration and pages of online exhibitions by each creative person.”
Corsham has a special ‘Street Exhibition’ in the town centre, Chippenham’s King Alfred Hall, by St Andrew’s Church will be hosting a group exhibition and Melksham also plans their best-ever Peacock Arts Trail.
