Popular local Italian Tutor Popular local Italian Tutor Dr Alessandra Murgia MCIL CL is a regular of Marlborough College Summer Schoolhaving tutored there for over 10 years.

Alessandra, who has a fantastic reputation across the region as a top linguist and tutor, also works for Oxford University, Marlborough College and the UK Defence Academy. A teacher in the UK for the past 22 years, Alessandra teaches all abilities, from beginners to advanced. To her credit, her students often achieved top 5 marks in the the UK at GCSE and Advanced Level. 

Alessandra now offers Italian Language classes at workshops from a beautiful setting. These are fun, interactive Italian Experience mornings, set in a pretty Oxfordshire location. The mornings are structured and provide and intensive morning of learning led by a highly experienced native speaker, linguist and tutor. You can see a list of upcoming courses here.

Italian Experience Cotswold Competition

We have been lucky to team up with Alessandra to offer one lucky reader the chance to take advantage of the forthcoming Beginners Italian workshop morning on Saturday 7th Dec 9.30am-12.30pm. (There are limited spaces available, so if you are interested please book now!)

Beginners Italian is for those with no knowledge, or very limited words and sentences. On the day, topics will include greetings, the family and useful travel words for the Italian holiday! This fantastic prize is worth £70; the winner will get 2.5 hours of tuition, tea and coffee and some delicious homemade Italian torta (cake).
