Fairport’s Cropredy Convention is Oxfordshire’s best-loved music festival and August will mark the 45th time the three-day event has taken place.
The festival attracts up to 20,000 fans and will take place at Cropredy near Banbury on Thursday 8, Friday 9 and Saturday 10 August 2024.
Host band Fairport Convention will welcome festival-goers with an acoustic set on the Thursday as well as playing a two+ hour closing set on the Saturday night. Their performance will be preceded by a surprise Special Guest.
The performances are impressively diverse and chosen to appeal across genres and generations. As well as Fairport Convention themselves, the headliners include Rick Wakeman with the English Rock Ensemble and the Trevor Horn Band. The rest of the line-up includes Tony Christie, Kathryn Tickell, Feast of Fiddles, Spooky Mens Chorale, Big Big Train, Elles Bailey, Baskery, DeWolff, SilverBlues, Black Water County, Eddi Reader, Focus, Ranagri, Zac Schulze Gang, Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage, and Richard Digance. There will also be a surprise special guest on the Saturday.
