EDUCATION: Bedstone continues to deliver outstanding education throughout Lockdown

Bedstone College’s Head, Mrs Wendy Martin, has seen enquiries reach an unprecedented level for this time of year, with many parents highlighting the school’s established reputation for uninterrupted education throughout Lockdown…

Having a blended approach which enables excellent face-to-face and online learning, Mrs Martin has received positive feedback from prospective parents, as well as parents of current pupils sending direct messages of support:

“A huge thank you to all at Bedstone College in our 3rd National Lockdown. Nothing has been too much trouble and the staff have exceeded what they are employed to do. The small things are often the things that take away the most stress. It is very much appreciated.”

Having recently announced that Saturday lessons will be non-compulsory from September 2021, Mrs Martin is continuing

to develop the school curriculum, with recent examples being the hiring of a Head of Music, including focus on Performance Arts, adding BTEC in Agriculture to the Sixth Form Options, and working with CReSTeD to be a Learning Support Centre school.

Bedstone is a co-educational day and boarding school committed to supporting every pupil to be the best they can be, and the school’s commitment to tailored learning and all-round education is at the forefront of what is provided, at all times.

Bedstone’s doors are open to one-to-one Open Days and new registrations, and prospective parents can contact the Admissions Team at admissions@bedstone.org or call 01547 530961 for more information to secure your child’s place to be part of the Bedstone family.
