HORSHAM: Borde Hill Garden Opens early for healthy walks

Borde Hill Garden is delighted to be opening for a brand new season on the 19th February, as the plants are blooming several weeks early...

Members are invited to visit a day earlier on Friday 18th February for an invigorating winter walk around the beautiful Garden and Woodland before it officially opens the following day.     Throughout February and March, the camellias will be at their peak – enjoy them on a self-guided walk to discover all their glory. The magnolias will soon join them in putting on a wonderful display – self-guided walks are also available, or join a Guided Magnolia Tour on 29th March or 5th April.  Visitors can enjoy other early flowering plants including hellebores, snowdrops, viburnum and daffodils. Also some of the early rhododendrons are to be seen too.    Wilbur’s Wild Welly Walk 19th February to 3rd April As ever, there are plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy at Borde Hill Garden. This February half term, pull on your boots, get out into the fresh air and join ‘Wilbur’s Wild Welly Walk’ from 19th February to 3rd April – be inspired by motivational mottos and practice yoga techniques while searching for hidden wellies!   The trail is £3 per child, plus admission to include a prize (Free to Members). Advance booking is required for this event.
