GARDEN: Ludlow Salvage; Reclaiming Building Materials

Since opening our gates in September 2017, Ludlow Salvage has quickly established itself as a reliable source for reclaimed building materials…

Ranging from bricks, slates, tiles, flagstones, oak beams, timber cladding, doors, along with garden ornaments such as arches, table and chair sets, fountains and fire bowls, it was the acquisition of four huge fire bowls last summer that started us off on our new path. They proved so popular that they sold out within a week!

Realising there was such a clear demand for these items and seeing the love of wood fired outdoor heating increase, we were intent on finding a regular supply of fire bowls and other alternatives.

We now have a beautiful range of Corten Steel fire bowls and BBQs that are unique, robust and require minimal maintenance. These unfussy, yet stylish items have proved massively popular when seen on display at our yard in Woofferton, just outside Ludlow.

Wanting to be able to provide the full package to our customers, we felt supplying a premium grade kiln dried firewood would complement the business greatly. With extensive research we feel we can offer the best quality firewood in the area. Our neatly crated firewood is kiln dried to below 18% moisture content, this ensures a long, hot, clean burn -giving instant heat, keeping you warm and your chimney clean.

With free delivery within 10 miles of our yard, we will aim to get your crated firewood as close as we can to where you need it using our pallet truck service. With your crate in place, the work is done, all you need to worry about is getting the wood to your fire.

It is a product we are very excited and pleased about and we are confident that our customers will be too. To celebrate this, we will be giving away a specially designed cover for your crate which is breathable and waterproof, to the first 20 crates sold. These usually retail at £24.00.
