WIN: Gin tasting experience and bottle of gin from Warwickshire Gin Company

The inspiration behind the award-winning craft distillery’s portfolio of artisan premium spirits, comes from a desire to capture a moment in history, developing flavours to fully represent the county’s own unique story and bringing the range of hand-crafted flavours to life.

The gins are: Leamington on Parade – inspired by the true story of three elephants brought over from Sri Lanka to Leamington by circus elephant trainer Sam Lockhart in the 1880s; The Kingmaker – named after Richard Neville 16^th Earl of Warwick; Peeping Tom – inspired by the legend of Coventry’s Lady Godiva; Pelota Dry Gin – In honour of the formation of the world’s first lawn tennis club in Leamington and The Philosopher’s Daughter – remembering Katherine Dee who selected botanicals from knot gardens such as the privy paradise created at Kenilworth Castle, for her father, Victorian philosopher John Dee in his quest for the distillation of alcohol.

Leamington boxing legend Randolph Turpin is the inspiration behind the award-winning distillery’s three rums – The Pugilist – Sting Like A Bee – Honey Rum and Pugilist Ghost Edition White Rum.

They also produce the popular Kingmaker Vodka which is a fitting celebration of the Earl of Warwick with its surprise addition of a hint of frankincense.

The competition prize includes two tickets for the Gin Tasting Experience where you can learn all about the distillery process and inspiration behind the company as well as enjoy seven tastings from their gin, rum and vodka range and four complimentary drinks of your choice. You are also entitled to 10% off all purchases from the distillery shop.

The winner will also receive a 50cl bottle of Warwickshire Gin Company gin of their choice plus.
